Elliott Yang, along with carefully selected and proven Contractors provide a full design, consent and building service for additions, alterations and new residential homes.

We specialise in the production of all types of house plans and can handle most tasks in-house, but if needed, we have a large network of talented people that we can use at short notice to get the job done.

We can take your idea anywhere from making sure it's possible, to moving in day.

We take great pride in getting the best possible outcome for your money, whether it's for investors wanting to maximise their equity or their return, renovators wanting to increase the value of their home or make it better for them, or a new home that fits your lifestyle perfectly.

FEASIBILITY REPORT

A Preliminary Investigation will find out if your project is possible. Includes council planning regulations and zoning, site investigation and options for existing dwelling

CONCEPT DRAWINGS

All of your ideas will be explored and refined. The best options will be made possible and modelled on the site

RESOURCE CONSENT

Produce a developed design: Meaning the design is compliant with Council regulations, structural issues are resolved and the plan includes enough information to get quotes from contractors, allow Engineers to make calculations and apply for resource consent.

BUILDING CONSENT

All of the information required for building consent is produced, including drawings and details, the brand and specification of all your fixtures and fittings, colours, claddings, door stops. Engineers drawings (if any) are incorporated and the consent is granted.

CONSTRUCTION MATTERS

Drawings for the trades are produced which may include lighting, joinery, interior design, landscape design, pools or other structures. Contractors are found, quotes are obtained.

BUILDING OVERSIGHT

Organising the build is a big job and vital to the success of your project. We can select the main contractor, ensure all of the sub-contractors are organised and that timeframes and deadlines are met. Any changes are drawn and cleared with council and the relevent contractors informed. Final paperworks are collected and lodged. Building certificate is gained.

As a reformed greeny I've always hated waste, which is one of the big reasons I like designing and drawing renovations. Re-using, changing the purpose or expanding on what is there is by far the most effective way of saving our resources (and your dollar).
